SKYTON RESORTS AIMS TO REDISCOVER HUMANITY IN THE NEW NORMAL

Planned luxury wellness retreats put the focus on “disconnecting while reconnecting”

NEW YORK, NY – Skyton Resorts, a new venture headed by long-time real estate entrepreneurs Steve and Mira Bayonne, will be opening a series of membership-based wellness retreats for people who need a break from the endless Zoom calls and digital day-to-day. Planned for areas just outside major metropolitan centers throughout the continental United States, Skyton Resorts intends to be much more than just a weekend trip for burnt-out city dwellers.

“Disconnecting with nature was harming us long before we were forced to quarantine,” says founder Steve Bayonne. “Our own family experienced first-hand how detrimental an ‘always on’ daily existence can be. And we’ve seen the genuine benefits of reconnecting with nature and one another in the time since. We’re launching Skyton Resorts to offer guests — both families and couples — the chance to truly escape the hustle and isolation of current city living.”

The timing of this project is ideal for a population still reeling from a global pandemic. Though many families initially rediscovered togetherness through quarantining, most adults soon reverted to digital, disconnected ways of working and relaxing. Likewise, though domestic travel recently hit an all-time high, most of these excursions are still restricted by the ongoing effects of the pandemic. Planned for isolated, idyllic country landscapes, Skyton’s 100+-acre lakefront resort properties will be conveniently located near travel and transport, yet will offer experiences worlds away from the ordinary.

“No matter the type of experiences our guests desire, we’ll have a resort property to match,” Bayonne continues. “Woodsy A-frame cabins. Sprawling ranch homes. Even tree-houses for our more adventurous guests. Whatever the chosen surroundings, Skyton Resorts has an ideal setting to promote true relaxation.”

The “off the grid” environments don’t end with the postcard-quality landscapes. Each facility will offer a decidedly unique interior decor to perfectly complement the homes. Rustic artwork, vinyl records and turntables, and lush furnishings are seamlessly blended with modern amenities (minus the digital distractions, of course) to complete the experience.

In addition to the accommodations, Skyton Resorts guests will also enjoy a wide range of activities, from swimming, boating, and hiking excursions, to more-intimate outdoor dining, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy sessions, and even salt caves for unparalleled physical and emotional wellness. Certain
facilities will also offer personal chef service, cooking classes, and holistic wellness courses at the ready.

“The goal of Skyton Resorts is to bring people back to what matters,” adds Bayonne. “While the initial focus is on family and couples retreats, we expect the resorts to appeal to a much wider range of guests over time. This includes everything from friends’ weekends and wedding parties, to more-expansive corporate retreats. Anyone who needs a little disconnection will benefit from our resorts. And we expect that once they come, they’ll find it increasingly difficult to return to their everyday routines.”
